The Rocky Swap is Australia’s 3rd largest swap, held every year on the first Saturday in August at the Rockhampton Showgrounds. With over 1,100 sites and thousands of visitors, it’s a must visit for collectors, restorers and bargain hunters travelling from near and far.
What is the Rocky Swap?
The Rocky Swap Meet is one of Queensland’s largest annual swap events, running since 1997. You will find car, bike and truck parts, marine and outdoor, retail and market stalls, bric-a-brac and homewares, and vintage and collectibles. It attracts visitors from all over the East Coast of Australia — to find those sought after parts, collectibles, hidden treasures and bargains.
When is the next Swap Meet?
The 2026 Rocky Swap will be held on Saturday, 1 August 2026 at the Rockhampton Showgrounds.
- Existing site holders: bookings accepted during set up and on the day:
Friday: 3pm – 6pm and Saturday: 3pm – 6pm - New and changed sites: bookings open 1 September.
What can you expect on the day?
- Gates open: 4;30 am for site holders.
- Gates open: 7 am for the public.
- Cash and Card at the Gate and Online Tickets are also available
- Food and drinks: breakfast and lunch, hot and cold drinks and coffee: Food Trucks, Caterers, Rotary and Lions vans onsite.
- ATMs and Parts Pick Up Service is available for everyone’s convenience.
